University of Alaska and faculty union reach tentative contract agreement

On November 1 the two parties reached a tentative agreement on a new three-year contract that increases faculty pay and the pension wage base, expands the use of faculty development funds, and provides for changes to the dispute resolution process.

Nominations Open for 2023 Edith R. Bullock Prize for Excellence

The annual Edith R. Bullock Prize for Excellence includes a $20,000 award. Any student, faculty, staff, alumni or volunteer who has made a significant contribution to the mission of the University of Alaska system, 杏吧原创A, 杏吧原创F, or 杏吧原创S is eligible to be nominated.

High school seniors from nearly 250 schools across Alaska have been identified as this year's class of University of Alaska (杏吧原创) Scholars, qualifying each of them for a $12,000 scholarship to use at any location in the 杏吧原创 system. Students ranked within the top ten percent of their class are eligible for the award.
